In the lightweight Tourist Trophy race at the Isle of Man, over 264 miles, the Italian Tenni, riding a Guzzi, won. His time was 3h 32min 6scc, and his average speed 74.72 miles per hour. The winner's time is a record and it is the first time a foreigner has won the event.
