SLANDERING OF PUBLIC MEN
SYDNEY, June 10.
The tendency of the Australian people to decry and slander its politicians and public men was deplored by the Federal Attorney-General. Sir Robert Menzics, in a speech at Goulbun;.
"We have organs &f public opinion which live entirely by attacking the personal reputations ol leading men." he said. "Because of this public life may become so debilitated that it is likely to lead to dictatorships."
