RESUMPTION ANNOUNCED

RUGBY, June 16.
The decision of the German and Italian Governments to resume forthwith their co-operation in the work of the Non-intervention Committee was announced to the chairman, Lord Plymouth, this morning:, by the respective Ambassadors.
It was communicated to the House of Commons this afternoon by the Foreign Secretary, who said he was glad to be able to tell the House of two Governments' resumption of full participation both in the work of the Nonintervention Committee and in the work of naval observation in Spanish waters.
"The House will note," Mr. Eden added, "that the two Governments have now taken this action in advance of the receipt of the assurances which hr.ye been asked for from the two parties in Spain." Questioned in the House regarding foreign assistance to the 4.w0 sides in the Spanish war, the Foreign Secretary stated that since the agreement of February 20 concerning volunteers, his information went to show that the flow of foreign nationals had been checked. The British Government, he said, would continue to work to prevent forei:^) combatants and supplies of war materials reaching Spain, and especially to secure agreement on the withdrawal of all foreign combatants.
