I NEW YORK, June IG. The boxing editor of the "New, York Times," after viewing James Braddock lin four rounds of sparring, declared that the champion was slow in punching and was looping blows and missing. He left himself open and his partners had no difficulty in hitting him with left hooks to the head and body.
Joe Louis had eight fast rounds with four partners and looked his best since be began training. He boxed well and his footwork was good. He hit hard when he wished and knocked unconscious one partner in under two minutes.
