COUNT YON LUCKNER'S VISIT
At the monthly meeting of the Wellington Clothing Trade Employees' Union, held on Tuesday, the following motion was passed:—"That this meeting of Wellington clothing trade employees, realising that the Government which Count yon Luckner represents has been notorious for smashing the trade unions in Germany, and also realising that Nazi influence and propaganda are definitely harmful to the working class and to democracy, strongly urges the Government to prohibit his entry into New Zealand."
A copy of the resolution has been forwarded to the Acting Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser).
