ONLY BLONDE LATIN.
Hollywood's only blonde Latin, actress, Ketti Galian, plays the role of the mystery woman in the Metro-Gold-wyn-Mayer dramatic thriller, "Espionage." Half Italian and half French, Miss Gallian has a fair complexion, blue-green eyes, and corn-coloured hair. The scene of the new picture, which features Edmund Lowe, Madge Evans, and Paul Lukas, is in France and Central Europe, where Miss Gallian passed her childhood before she went on to the stage in Paris. Later the actress went to London and became a footlight favourite. An American producer, looking for a leading lady to appear opposite Spencer Tracy in "Marie Galante," saw her in "The Ace" and immediately signed her to a contract. Arriving in Hollywood she had to learn to Speak English in three months in order not to hold up production. She did. Later she scored in "Under a Pampas Moon" with Warner Baxter. .
