HACKETT-LORNE PARTNERSHIP.
Walter Hackett has written another play for his charming wife, Marion Lome, the twentieth comedy he has written for her. These delightful Americans have almost become Britons through a long stay in England and a iuccessful association with the British stage. His latest comedy gives her another of those amusing, fluffy-headed parts for which Miss Lome has become famous The scenes all take place in London, and the piece was given a good reception at the Apollo. In the cast with Miss Lome were several members of the popular Hackett company who had played in several of the Hackett successes:—"Espionage," "The Fugitives,' "The Way to Treat a Woman," and 'Good Losers." The cast included Kd win Styles, Leonard Upton, Richnrd Gray, Cathleen Nesbit. Two newcomers under the Hackett banner were Robert Andrews and Phyllis Morris.
