ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL

STEADY WORK IN THE HOME

Mrs. Corkill presided over a very good attendance at a recent meeting of the Alexandra Hospital and Home Committee. It was stated that the special Coronation celebrations were much enjoyed by the patients in hospital and the inmates of the home, and that the good work done in the home goes steadily on, the committee being very grateful for the continued interest of! the public and for the many kindnesses shown. Special thanks were expressed to ,the_ following for their generous donations:—Mr. Knight, the Two-garment Society, , Mrs. Coutts, Maori Welfare League, Dickens Fellowship Sewing Guild; Mrs. F. G. Ward, the Smith Family, Miss Brandon, Miss Salmond, Mrs. C. Williams, Mrs. Fowler, Miss Webb, Aspro Ltd., and "A Friend.''
