The hidden-hole competition played by the Strathmore Park Club over nine holes last Saturday was won by W. Longhurst, E. Tanner being the runnerup. . . , .On Sunday a match between teams representing the president and captain was played, the president's team being the' victors by eleven games to three. The winner of the president's trophy for the best net medal scorerin his team was W. McGregor, 74, 21—53. For the second--prize; Cowley, Chadwick,and G. Jones tied with 59 net. Cowley being the winner on the count back. The winner of the captain's trophy for •the best net medarscore.in his team was B. W. Millier, 86, 24—62.- For the seebnd.prize A. Jones, T. Tucker. Morton, and Longhurst tied with-64 net. Jones being the winner on the count back. Next Saturday a stableford bogey will be played over nine holes, and on Sunday the monthly medal round for the president's trophy. The following adjustments to handicaps have been made:—J. L. Evans, ■18-14; W. McGregor, 18-14; P. Payne, 30-8; C. Stone, 10-8; T. Tucker, 14-11; J. Wickens, 14-II.T
