AUCKLAND WINNINGS
The successes of Irish Comet in tha Great Northern and Winter Steeplechases made Mr. R. J. Sexton the largest winning owner at the recent Auckland Racing Club's Winter Meeting. Irish Comet's earnings wera £1370, and Mr. Sexton also shared as a partner in the £70 earned by Lochiel Lad's second in the Hunt Club Cup. Sandy Dix, winner of the Great Northern Hurdles and third in tha Campbell Hurdles, won £730 for Mr. A. Coubrough. Huskie, the winner of the Campbell Hurdles and runner-up in the Great Northern and Remuera Hurdles, secured £600 for Mr. P. Corbett. Four owners tied for fourth position on the list with £400. They wera Mr. A. J. Smales, who had two victories with All Irish; Mr. W. James, owner of the dual winner Erndale; Major G. F. Hutton, whose colours also were twice successfully carried by Sky Pilot; and Mr. H. W. Moss, whose representative, Boomerang, scored in the principal flat race, the Cornwall Handicap,
