TEA MARKETS
The Colombo tea market -this week was strong, according to private advices received in Wellington, common teas advancing by id to Id a pound and other teas following quality, which continues to decline. Ihe London market was strong, prices generally being id a lb dearer.

Mr. L. M. Wright has received' the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction of June 15:—At yesterday s tea auction of 2,750,0001b, common grades met a keen demand, and prices advanced l&. Medium and fine teas were slightly irregular, following quality. Next week's sale is catalogued for 2,225,0001b.
