DUNEDIN, This Day.

Two thousand bags of potatoes, each weighing approximately 1001b, are being sent by the Tairoa to Montevideo. The consignment was loaded under the strictest supervision by the Agricultural Department, as only best quality is permitted to leave the country.

The bulk of this shipment is from Oamaru and the neighbouring dislricls.
