HUME,PIPE (FAR EAST), LTD.
Hume Pipe (Far East), Ltd., earned a profit of £25,301 for the year ended March 31, compared with £14,345 the previous year, and £1610 for 1934-35. From this amount is deducted £7066, being the proportion of profits earned by Hume Steel, Ltd., at the company's steelworks. An interim dividend at the rate'of 10 per cent, per annum was paid in December for the six months ended' September 30. Directors recommend a further dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum for the three months to March 31, on the recent new issue of 25,000 shares.
