Increased freight rates on a number of lines which are shipped from Australia tp American countries have been agreed to by Sydney agents for shipping companies engaged in the Pacific trade.

Nd increase has yet been made in the rates for. goods shipped from America to Australia, but it is expected that increases will be announced in a few days*
