The Arbitration Court yesterday gave judgment on an application by the Wellington Biscuit and Confectionery Manufacturers' Employees' Union to' amend a Dominion dated February 12, 1936, in so far as it affected Wellington. The judgment provides for the rates of remuneration prescribed in that award to be altered by substituting the rates prescribed in an award dated November 22, 1929. The order is deemed to have come into force on July 1, 1936.
