THEFT OF MILK MONEY

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Three times recently money for cream has been taken from my box, and the bottle thrown under bushes or next door. It is futile of the council to say, "Put out tokens instead of cash," as my neighbours not only had cream money taken, but milk tokens disappear also. I am infOTmed that the police have the matter in hand. What has the City Council to say on the matter? The council does not stand to lose anything as the householder simply has to pay over again if she still wants the cream. Cannot the council devise other plans than having to leave tokens and cash out for hours before they are collected?—l am, etc., HATAITAI.
