BOWLING

PLAY IN SINGLES SECTIONS COMPLETED INTERESTING GAMES Good progress was made on the bowling greens of the Wellington Bowling Centre yesterday, the section play in the championship singles of the New Zealand Bowling Association's annual tournament being completed with a full five rounds. Many of the games were close and interesting, although others were won easily. All greens were In good order and became keener during the day. The heavy traffic did not do any damage to the turf.
