GERMAN ILL-FEELING
FLAG INCIDENTS
COMING ROYAL WEDDING
BERLIN, January 2. Princesses Sieglinde and Elizabeth of Lippe Detmold, whose passports the Nazis seized as part of the bitter campaign against Prince von Lippe Biesterfeld, will, as a result of representations, be allowed to carry out their intention of acting as bridesmaids at. Princess Juliana's wedding. It is understood that the passport of another bridesmaid, Princess Sophie of Saxe Weimar, also has been restored. The Gei*man Press continues to attack the Prince, who formerly was a Nazi, because he has not publicly defended the Nazis. Party circles consider that the apology of the Dutch Minister for the incidents involving the tearing down of the swastika flag is insufficient. A message from The Hague says that all German newspapermen have cancelled their requests for tickets for the Royal wedding owing to the flag incidents. It is alleged that a swastika flag was destroyed during the night at the German school. A formal protest has secured another official apology.
