THE JANUARY SALE The Wellington wool sale to be held on Monday next will be the first to be held in the Dominion after the holidays. The offering will be 30,000 bales, as allotted by the New Zealand Wool Committee. Catalogues for this sale closed on December 23, with a great rush to get wool into the JanuaryFebruary sales whilst the market was in a keen buying mood. Subject to correction, the catalogues to be offered next Monday will be in the following order:— Bales. Murray, Roberts, and Co 4,168 Levin and Co N.Z. Loan and Mercantile .... 3.8W N.Z. Farmers' Distributing 4,901 Wairarapa Farmers ............ Mm Wright, Stephenson, and Abraham and Williams 3,74.2 Dalgety 4478 Bales 30,000 The catalogues for the February Wellington sale have also closed at 30,000 bales. . T Sales will be held in Napier on January 16, and Wanganui's first sale ol the season will be held on January 21. The 1937 series of London sales will qpen on/Tuesday, January 12.
