PROFITS INCREASE
NEW ZEALAND AND RIVER PLATE Increased net profit amounting to £28,621' is shown in the accounts of the New Zealand and River Plate Land Mortgage Company, Limited, for the year ended October 31, according to information cabled from London to the Auckland attorneys. An annual dividend of 3 per cent, unchanged, less British income tax, at 4s 9d in the £, will be recommended by the directors at the annual meeting to be held in London on January 12. £21,000 will thus be paid out in dividends, £5000 added to reserve, leaving £22,800 to be carried forward.
