Kveton, Consul-General in Australia and New Zealand for' Czechoslovakia, and Mrs. Kveton, arrived from Sydney by the Awatea today on j a two months' holiday visit to the Do- . minion, bringing their own car with | them: Dr. Kveton will take the opportunity of visiting the Consular offices at Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch. His Consular experience dates from the end of the Great War, and of recent years he has been stationed at Liverpool, Canada, and Mexico. Seddon, D.V.Sc., oi Brisbane, who arrived today by the Awatea from Sydney, is a New Zealander, whose mother resides at Lower Hutt. He will attend the conference ol the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science, which is to be held at Auckland this month. Professor Seddon was recently appointed principal of the new Brisbane Veterinary School. Before receiving that appointment he was on the staff of the Glenfield Research Station in New South Wales.

Mr. R. H. Nesbitt, Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, returned to" Wellington today by the Awatea from a visit to Sydney.
