WOMAN INJURED

MOTOR-CAR SKIDS

(By Teleerraph.—l'ress Association.) [ DARGAVILLE, This Day. A motor-car driven in the vicinity of Mamaranui, north of Dargaville, by James Reid Corskie, of Waipawa,- in passing a motor-truck skidded and slipped into a drain. In the car were Mrs. Corskie and her daughter, Miss Sherborne, also of Waipawa. Mrs. Corskie received injuries to an arm, including a broken wrist, and with others of the party was at Mount Pleasant Hospital. She was later removed by the St.. John Ambulance to the Northern Wairoa Hospital and is progressing favourably.
