MAKO SHARKS CAUGHT

TEST OF KAIKOURA WATERS

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) KAIKOURA, This Day. Three sharks were caught on Sunday by Messrs. B, S. Trolove, G. R. Laidlaw, and N. G. Francis in Kaikoura waters. The fish proved lively and provided good sport for the deepsea fishermen. The party was organised by Mr. Trolove. of "The Shades with a view to trying out the Kaikoura waters for big-game fishing. Mr. Geoff Gray accompanied the party on a second trip today. The fish were up to ten feet long.
