WAIWETU CLUB

A (lag competition played at the Waiwetu links' on Saturday afternoon was won by A. G. Stunell, who holed out on the eighteenth green.' Stroke rounds during the weekend produced a number of good cards, the best being A. R. Lusty 83. 20—63; followed by A. G. Stunell, 84, 19—65; R. G. Holland, 71, 2—69; H. C. Ribbands, 73, 4—69; and J. B. Wallace, 79, 7—72. Holland was in good form during Sunday afternoon, and completed the course in 71, going out in 38 and returning in 33.

Next Saturday afternoon a bogey over eighteen holes will be played and on Sunday the usual bogey rounds for cup points will be completed.
