Wlutcombp, 8 and 7; D G. Webster1 beat J. B. Graham, 1 up; R. B. Watson beat J. W. Ward, 5 and 4; S. M. Watson beat P. W Blundell, 9 and 8; G. Roberts beat N. Smith, 6 and 5. Intermediate.—First round (18 holes): J. B. McEwan beat J. W. Hutchison, 4 and 3; R E. Tolhurst beat R. W. G. Anderson, 5 and 3; R. A. Whyte beat F. A. L. Hunt, 5 and 4; C. W. D Bell beat B. Todd, 2 and 1. Second round: J. B. McEwan beat R. E. Tolhurst. 4 Junior.—First round (18 holes): A. A. Roberts beat K. G. Begg 2 and 1; N. B. Gibbons beat F. G. Williamson 4 and 3. In the fourball bogey competition for the William Herbert Salver which was played on Saturday ,J. B. Graham and A. A. Roberts tied with S. M. Watson and P. G. Whitcombe, both pairs returning cards of 5 up. Graham and Roberts won on tho count back.
