A NEARER DANGER

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —I was deeply interested to read that Mr. McKeen, M.P., on his return from abroad, thought wise to impress on the general public his views of the danger of the Fascist movement. I am quite in agreement with him on the subject, but at the same time I would like to point out that this movement has not, so far, obtained any hold in New Zealand, whereas Communism is daily growing in strength here, and I would very much- like to ask Mr. McKeen if he will kindly tell us what his own views are on this subject. To me this is something which demands our immediate attention, without worrying over a matter which is miles away from our shores.—l am, etc.,

DEEPLY INTERESTED.
