MINIATURE RIFLES

Recently the Lower Hutt Ladies^ Miniature Rifle Club held a visitors night, when the captain and vice-cap-tain picked teams, the vice-captains team winning. The highest scores were obtained by Mr. S. Murray and Mrs. Johnson, both visitors. During supper a parcel game was held, the parcel eventually going to Mr. Nightingale, sen. A ping-pong tournament held during the evening resulted in a win for Mr. A. Steffenseh. The club's monthly competitions have resulted in wins for the following;— July, Mrs. Rushton: runner-up, Miss M. Calder. August. Miss J. Routley: runner-un. Mrs. Nightingale. The O. M. Ching Memorial Badges were won in July by Mrs. Maitland (B grade) and Mrs. Fullford (C Efrade). In August they were held by Mrs. Nightingale (B grade) and Miss Routley (C I grade),
