RENEWED MIGRATION
M.S.W. PREMIER'S VIEWS
-SYDNEY, October 2.
The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. B. Stevens, who returned by the Aorangi from a trip abroad, discussed prospects for a renewal of migration.
"Before that happens," he said, "we must have assurances of co-operation from Britain and the Commonwealth Government, and that their monetary trade and investment policy would be such as to provide a continuous increase in the volume of profitable employment available for both men and money in Australia."
