A GORGEOUS CANOPY
-■ The Indian canopy under which the King recently received the debutantes in the gardens of Buckingham Palace was given to Queen Victoria by India on the occasion of her jubilee in 1887, (states an exchange).
.It is a gorgeous canopy, square in shape, fashioned of gold brocade, and makes a beautiful background for dainty dresses, the gold plate, and the Crown Derby china with the Garter oh it, which is used for tea by the RoyalFamily and their friend*
