As a mark of appreciation of the work of tree planting carried put in Brooklyn by the Wellington- Beautifying Society the sum- of ..-£6 6s has been donated by Mrs. E. .Cdv.en.ey. and the Misses Coveney. Yesterday's.ceremony was only a part of the work d6rie by the committee (of which Mrs. "A; J. Dv Pont is convener) which "has taken.» very active interest in all Brooklyn plantings.
