Mr. H. C. Clark (Pukekohe) commented on the wording of jthe announcement, remarking that it to indicate that the two reicording clubs were to be disregarded. 'On that score the recent comment by the president of the Waikato Club. Mr. J. D. Caro, was justifiable, but he thought it had been a little hasty.

Several speakers said they considered that instructional work was most ■important.
