"LAYING THE DEVIL"

Before a very large audience of members, the Thespians last night read "Laying the Devil," John Drinkwater's famous play, with very great success. The cast comprised Sinclair Breen, Victor S. Lloyd, Mary Leach, A. D. Priestley, Sara Walker, Charles .. Acheson, Bligh Pickering, and Raymond Hedges. Stage directions were read by Meg. Clmino. The next play to be read will be "Britannia of Billingsgate," by Christine Jope-Slade and Sewell Stokes.
