ADELAIDE STEAMSHIP REPORT.

Directors of the Adelaide Steamship Company, Ltd., report for the year ended June 30 that, after providing for depreciation of fleet and plant and increasing the insurance reserve by £10,000, the net profit was £139,312. This compares with £139,651 the previous year. The balance brought forward was £587, making £139,899 available. An interim dividend of 2£ per cent, was paid in March, and the directors now declare a dividend at the rate of 7 per cent, per annum for the halfyear ended June 30, making 6 per cent, for the year, as last year.
