They had been welcomed warm-heartedly throughout New Zealand. The.-tour had been a very pleasant, one for the'teen, and would do much to raise the standard of hockey in Fiji.. From the New Zealanders' point of view the tour would not have been in vain if it persuaded the authorities to allow the New Zealand girls • to.- play in shorts. Mrs. Harvie presented Mr. L. S P Butcher, organiser of the tour, with a memento from the members of the team, and Miss L. Sutherland, Fijian [captain,- presented Mrs. Reed, New 'Zealand captain, with a badge. Many toasts were honoured, and the members of the Fijian team were presented with souvenir badges, the New Zealand representatives being presented with hockey sticks,
