OBSERVANCE AT EASTBOURNE
The senior pupils of the Muritai School, from'standard 3 upwards, were addressed this morning by the Mayor of Eastbourne (Mr. E. W. Wise) and the caretaker of reserves (Mr. Bennett), both stressing the value of trees and the great beauty and utility of the native flora. Mrs. Wise and a boy and girl pupil from each of the senior classes then planted a tree.
