GHUZNEE ST.—KARORI BUS SERVICE
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —Being a regular traveller by the above service I would like to suggest that an extra bus be put on on Saturday nights to assist the 10.50 p.m. to Karori and 10.55 p.m. to Northland. These two buses have to carry very heavy loads which are excessive when negotiating the steep Terrace hill.j The buses are without doubt very powerful, but there is a limit to their capacity, and when they are expected Ito carry 60-65 passengers up steep hills I 1 think the limit is well passed. Surely the people who patronise buses to this extent are entitled to consideration for their safety and comfort. These two buses are the last from the city on Saturday nights and therefore have to {take everyone.—l am, etc.,
PASSENGER.
