MIEUXCE'S FRENCH DERBY
A fortnight prior to his success in the Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp (France) in June, the Massine colt Mieuxce, owned by M. Ernest Masurel, was the winner of the Prix dv Jockey Club (French Derby) at Chantilly. He was the favourite and scored comfortably by a length and a half from Vatellor and Genetout, two colts owned by M. Leon Volterra. Neither Sind nor Alcali, who filled the minor places in the Grand Prix, was in the Derby field. , ..-,...
