BRITISH FRUIT MARKET
(By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.)
(Received July 13, 11 a.m.)
LONDON, July 12. Although there have been considerable arrivals of apples and pears during the week, traders are retaining as many as possible in cold store in view of the approaching end of the season.
Unfortunately the bulk of arrivals are fully matured, necessitating immediate sale.
Prices,- however, have improved slightly.
