SECTION GAMES OVER
Section play in the New Zealanders" Association bowling 'tournament has now been completed, • the full seven rounds being played by nil rinks. Players have taken a keen interest throughout, and the games h:i\ j boon run to schedule. Those who hnve won sis games or move will take purl In the post-section play. The following are the rinks Unit have qualified:—Mclntyre, Shore, ANIi-11, Woolley; Worth, Urquhart, Youiij:, Mai"n; — . Dufl, Kershaw, Wt-lln; wakeham, Cooper, Green. Glen; Crul.' HOUSE CUP. Twenty entries were received for tho House Cup competition, which has beon divided into two sections. Play in t'hi.M competition commences next week, mid the games have already been arranged The draw for the first round is as follows:— Section A.—Wellington Tramway play Kirkcaldie and Stains, Reserve Bank play Toop and Ncilson, Post and Telegraph No. 1 play Alex Cowan and Sons. Colonial Motors play Singer Sewing Machines, Briscoe, E. W. Mills and Co. play Evening Post No. 1. Section B.—R. Hannah and Co. play Evening Post No. 2, Post and Telegraph No. 2 play New Occidental Hotel, Barr-Brown Construction Co., Ltd., play Globe Printing Co., George Lang and I Co. play Wellington Meat Export Co.. Self Help Co-op, play Bryant, May. and Bell Co. FRIENDLY MATCH. On Friday afternoon a friendly match was played between the Public Service Superannuated Association and the Railway Superannuated Association The following are the results (Public Service being mentioned first).:—Hunt, Henderson, Campbell, Donald, 20; Marshall, Lezard, Gauntlett, Wellings, 13 Bourke, Wright, Ingram; Mcßae, 14; Twohill, Stevens, Porteous, Munro, 28.
