WHEN IRONING PLEATS
Keep a piece of Japanese silk in the ironing sheet, and when pressing pleats and creasing trousers, press with the damp silk (states an exchange). It gives a splendid finish, and the pleats stay in indefinitely. It is equally satisfactory for: light, or heavy materials.
If a pinch of salt is added to the sugar used for stewing sour fruit, much less sugar will be required fstates an exchange). >
