SEA SCOUTS' DINNER
Assembled in Wellington for the annual Sea Scout regatta today, about fifty Sea Scouts from different parts of the Dominion attended a reunion dinner last night, under the chairmanship of the Wellington Metropolitan Commissioner, Mr. H. V. Foster. After the dinner there was an informal conference, at which topics of interest to the Sea Scout movement were discussed. ■
At the dinner the toast of the King was proposed by Mr. Foster, and that of the Chief Scout. Lord Baden Powell, coupled with the Sea Scout movement, by Mr. P. T. Smither, District Commissioner for Wellington Central. Mr. T. W. Edlin, chairman of the Britannia group committee, ' proposed the toast of the "Regatta." The toast of the "Visitors" was proposed by Captain W. N. McLeod, chairman of the regatta committee, and responded to by Mr. Jones. Scoutmaster of the.lrresistible Sea Scout Troop, Nelson, and Mr. Edinger, Scoutmaster of the Wanganui Sea Scout troop.
