NEW CLUB FORMED
LADIES' AUXILIARY R.S.A,
At the first annual meeting of the ladies' committee, of the Miramar R.S.A. a ladies' club was formed, all those in attendance enrolling as members. The newly-elected chairwoman, Mrs. 0.4 G. Smith, expressed the desire that all those present should endeavour to induce others interested to join, and thus assist in furthering the social activities of the R.S.A. in the district.
To commence the year's programme arrangements have been made to hold a dance on Easter Monday at a local hall.
The following members were elected to the committee for the ensuing year: Mrs. O. G. Smith (chairwoman), Mrs. Climo (vice-chairwoman), Mrs. G. A. Wilson (secretary), Mrs. F. M. Thomson (treasurer), Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. McCord, Mrs. Goodwin, Mrs. Downes.
The annual report showed that the ladies had^done excellent work during the past year.
