Death duties to a' total of £ 1,008,823 have been paid on Lord Dysart's estate. The Exchequer has benefited from several exceptionally large/ estates in the present financial year, though the record of last year is not likely to be equalled. Receipts from estate 'duties up to December 14 were £60,990,000, compared with £57,085,000 up to the corresponding date of 1934, and the Budget estimate for the whole year of £80,000,000.
