JOCK M CAVOY'S SUCCESS

Jock McAvoy, the British middleweight champion, was responsible for a highly-sensational performance at Madison Square Garden tonight in knocking? out Risko, world middleweight champion, ': after two minutes forty-eight seconds of the first round of what was scheduled to be a ten-round bout. The-title was not at stake, as both men weighed over tha 160-pound limit. v
Risko never got "started or, for that matter, landed- a single blow. McAvoy rushed him at the opening bell and .knocked him to the floor with his first punch, but Risko regained his feet without, a count. Then McAvoy knocked him down six times in rapid order for counts ranging from three to eight, until on the last occasion the American took the count of ten sitting oh the floor in a dazed condition. :
