Jock McAvoy, the British middleweight champion, was responsible for a highly-sensational performance at Madison Square Garden tonight in knocking? out Risko, world middleweight champion, ': after two minutes forty-eight seconds of the first round of what was scheduled to be a ten-round bout. The-title was not at stake, as both men weighed over tha 160-pound limit. v

Risko never got "started or, for that matter, landed- a single blow. McAvoy rushed him at the opening bell and .knocked him to the floor with his first punch, but Risko regained his feet without, a count.
