George David Rose, a waterside worker, aged 21, was fined 30s, in default three days' imprisonment, for using obscene language in Farish Street yesterday. , ;
Leo Patrick Ellison, a farm labourer aged 29, and William Roger Kells, alabourer and shearer,: aged 44,' were each fined 30s and costs for fighting: in Tory Street yesterday, William Adolphus Cunningham, : a wool-classer, aged 48, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment for stealing 10s and two job-sheets from the o.iEice of the "Standard" newspaper on Saturday. .■'■■■• ' .
