ROUND THE WORLD
SAILING SHIP REACHES
SYDNEY
SYDNEY, December 9.
The trim 146-ton full-rigged British sailing ship Joseph Conrad, in charge of her owneir-master, Mr. Alan J. Villiers, a former Australian journalist, entered Sydney Harbour today on the completion of a round-the-world voyage which was begun from Ipswich, England, 15 mqnths ago. The crew of 26 includes Dutchmen, Norwegians, and Danes, and probably a dozen cadets, some of whom are English public school bioys. All are in the pink of condition.
Mr. Villiersj who went to sea to satisfy an instinctive love for it, has not made up liiis mind what- to do with, the Joseph Cq>nrad.
