VERSARY

. The Lower ■ Hutt Baptist Sunday School anniversary services were held pn Sunday, the church being filled to capacity at both the morning and evening services.

The morning service was conducted by the Rev. H. W. Newell, "Uncle William" of 2YA.. The children's singing was very sweet and thoroughly appreciated by the congregation. It reflected much credit on their conductor, Mr. H. A. PargetterJ Miss M. Findlater was at the organ and Miss N. Pargetter at the, piano.

The evening service was taken by the Rev. Hayes Lloyd, who reminded jthe parents of their duty to, and influence on, the. children. The services l'were 'continued last night with a children's tea, concert, and prize-giving fftmetion.
