BARTER WITH PERSIA
GERMAN AGREEMENT
Uultcd Prosa Association—By Electric Teifegraph—Copyright. LONDON, October 8. The "Morning Post's" Berlin correspondent says that Germany has concluded a barter agreement with Persia i involving' the exchange of goods valued at £2,750,000 yearly.
Persia is providing Germany 'with metals, wool, cotton, cereals, dried fruits, and caviare, and Germany is supplying Persia with textile machinery, electrical apparatus, motor-lorries, and household goods. Germany wanted oil supplies, but Persia is precluded from supplying them owing to previous commitments.
