The Oamaru owner, Miss A. Boyle enjoyed successes at the Kurow Meeting last Saturday with Quite Soon and Queen Dorothy, both trained at Oamaru by J. Ross. . ■ "- . _ Quite Soon, who is by Shambles from Dame Straitlace, has been a useful stake-earner since Miss Boyle bought her from Mr. J. R.-McKenzie more than two years ago, and last season she won three races. This season she showed encouraging form .by filling, second place in the Geralaine Cup, and also in the big handicap on the second.day of that meeting and her wm on Saturday points to her prospects. for a better- innings this term.
