TUBERCULOSIS CLINICS

PALMERSTON N., This Day.
Considerable success has attended the endeavours being made to establish free clinics throughout the North Island at which those .who suspect that they may be suffering from incipient tuberculosis can get advice. One of the prime movers in the idea is Mr. J; K. Hornblow, chairman of the Palmerstoh North Hospital Board, who reported last evening that the movement was being taken up enthusiastically by both hospital boards and the medical profession hi Taranaki. . : ! ■'
With Dr. Shore, of the Health Department,- Mr. Hornblow leaves *i for Hamilton ■ today- to discuss the matter with the Waikato Hospital Board,, and later with the Taumarunui authorities. Next week they go on a similar mission to the Wairarapa. •
